Our philosophy

The Conservatory of Music was founded in 1990 by Dr. Charles Frantz. In creating a supportive and caring atmosphere, Dr. Frantz inspires enthusiasm to reach higher musical goals. The students' personal musical accomplishments lead to higher self esteem.

About us

The Conservatory of Music is a private studio offering individual lessons in piano and guitar taught by Dr. Frantz. Thirty-minute, forty-minute, and sixty-minute lessons are available. Dr. Frantz has taught music history, theory, and piano at Westminster Choir College of Rider University, Temple University, Rutgers University (where he earned a Ph.D. in Musicology) and at The College of New Jersey. His performances include concerts at Carnegie Hall and the Philadelphia Academy of Music — as well as numerous recitals and engagements in New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania.
